Hello. I met Alex today in Manchester, England. I work at Hunts
Motorcycles. I will see him again on Saturday, but i just wanted to wish him all
the best in the future.  GOOD LUCK ALEX
Dear Iris & Family

It is Jill's and my pleasure to host Alex whilst he achieves this mammoth expedition. He
is very brave, he is doing what we just all 'talk about doing' you are I'm very proud of him.

Eng V in Manchester looked after him at first now it was our pleasure to do the same
here in Leicestershire & Rutland with England VIII.

One his first afternoon he was very busy with a press interview from two local
newspapers 'The Hinckley Times' and 'The Leicester Mercury' both have run features of
him with a few photos. I will ensure that you are sent a few copies.

The local radio station also ran a feature on Alex on the hourly news bulletin's every
hour yesterday, this done so that his arrival in the County of Leicestershire & Rutland
was given maximum effect and publicity.

Alex also met our Deputy Chief Constable Mr David Lindley at police HQ yesterday,
where we exchanged gifts.

We are taking Alex with us to the North East of England today to England III Rally in
Walworth Castle, he will love the rally.

I am taking him through some lovely scenery before we ride along the main freeways.
We will ride through a part of Nottingham Forest where of course you will recall 'Robin
Hood' and his merry men used to frequent.

Alex could easily spend a week here in our County, we have so much history on our
door step, Stratford Upon Avon is 20mins away, Market Bosworth the site of the War of
the Roses in 1485 is just 10 mins away. May be its an excuse for YOU ALL to come over
and look around in a more leisurely pace.

I know a few of the contacts in Europe where Alex is heading, Matthew Wadd and Ludo
are just two of them. We rode down to Croatia with Matthew last year. Jill and I will do all
that we can to help Alex on his way and to ensure that he returns to the good old US of A
safe and sound.

We will monitor his trip. Please send us some of your sunshine!! It is raining again
today.

Love and best wishes, RWP

Alan & Jill Morris

met him, we knew he was going to make it. We wish him well on his russian
